FIFTY CENTS. American, Jig. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A double-tonic tune. The 'A' part is the same as the 'B' part of the Scottish melody "Gray Buck (The)." It is perhaps the "Fifty Cent Piece" that appears in The Company of Fifers and Drummers (1976, Book 1, p. 25).
