FRANK'S. Scottish, Hornpipe (2/4 time). A Major ('A' part) & E Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. "Frank's" was composed by Aberdeenshire fiddler-composer and Scottish dancing master wikipedia:James Scott Skinner (1843-1927), dedicated to his son-in-law, Mr. Frank Sutherland, Elgin, who was a sometime member of Skinner's dance band, put together ad hoc for his end-of-season balls at the finale of his dancing class series and similar events. Sutherland played piccolo, while W. Sutherland played cello and J. Sutherland played cornet; they were perhaps brothers. Skinner's adopted daughter, Jeannie, herself a pianist and sometime accompanist to her father, married Frank Sutherland.
