GENERAL LORD GLENLYON'S MARCH. Scottish, March. Composed by gamekeeper and fiddler-composer Biography:John Crerar in honor of James Murray, General Lord Glenlyon, the fifth child of John Murray, 4th Duke of Atholl, and the first Baron Glenlyon. Crerar perhaps composed the tune in 1821, surmises Crerar reasercher Elidh Scammell, when he assumed his new title[1].
