"Gigue des tourists [2]" was recorded by fiddler-composer biography:Isidore Soucy in Montreal in 1937, accompanied by his nephew, pianist Romuald Soucy. Soucy researcher Jean Duval finds that Soucy a few years later recorded another version of the reel under the title "Gigue à ma sœur" (My Sister's Gigue), and points out the similarity of the second strain with radio and TV fiddler Don Messer's "Old French" (recorded in 1948).
