GLENDA'S REEL. Canadian, Reel (cut time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Composed by fiddler Carl Elliott, born in 1928 in Pleasant Hills, Nova Scotia. As a teenager Elliot played fiddle and guitar for dances in a family band, along with his mother and brother. He lived for many years in Ontario prior to returning to Nova Scotia. The reel is named after his daughter.
