Probably a corruption of 'Grand March' from Bellini's opera Norma, although it (along with "Grand March of Normal (2)") only mimics the first few bars of that work. Other versions of this popular march preserve more of Bellini's original.
"Captain Bluett's March," AKA "Dorsetshire March (The)," "Captain Reid's Delight," "Third Buffs March (The)" is a similar march, dating to the mid-18th century. The opening bars are also quite similar, albeit a sixth apart, and the marches are structurally very similar.
