GRAY'S SECOND CHANGE. Canadian, Jig (6/8 time). Canada, Ontario. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABB'. Composed by Ontario fiddler Graham Townsend [1] (1942-1998). Part of the title is somewhat of a mystery, as the tune is a jig, commonly played as the 'first change' for sets in Ontario. However, the first word in the title, 'Gray', refers to Gray Townsend, Graham's son, who played drums in his band. The first strain is similar to Andy Dejarlis's "Early Bird Jig."
