A Mixolydian/Dorian (Carlin): A Mixolydian (Feldman & O'Doherty). Standard tuning (fiddle). One part (Carlin): AB (Feldman & O'Doherty). Feldman & O'Doherty note that the tune is played an octave lower the last time around in County Donegal. The tune (as "Gurren Castle") was recorded in the 78 RPM era by Michael Coleman and Hugh Gillespie.
