HEY BOYS UP GO WE. English, Country Dance Tune (4/4 time). C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). The melody was entered into the c. 1694-5 music manuscript collection of Northumbrian fiddler Henry Atkinson [1]. It is melodically closer to the version of "Hey boys up go we" printed by Henry Playford in the 1695 edition of the Dancing Master.
