Fraser notes that the reel forms a good medley with "Come Along and Keep Your Promise." Researcher Conor Ward compares the tune with Rev. Luke Donnellan's south Ulster collected "Dalestreet Lasses (The)". The reels have significant melodic and harmonic similarities and may well be cognate.
