I'M A POOR STRANGER THAT'S FAR FROM MY HOME [2]. Irish, Air (3/4 time). E Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. Perhaps a little similarity to Joyce's similarly-titled "I'm a poor stranger and far from my own (1), if only the banality of the melody. The tune was entered into the large mid-19th century music manuscript collection of Canon James Goodman (County Cork).
