JACK'S DELIGHT [4]. AKA and see "Mock Highland Man." English, Country Dance Tune (cut time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. In addition to the London publishers' printings listed below, the tune was entered into the c. 1747 music manuscript collection of Cheapside, London, musician Walter Rainstorp. The second strain is shared with the Thompson's "Jack's Delight (2)" although the first strains differ.
