The jig "Jemmy the Gom" can be found in Book 2 of the large mid-19th century music manuscript collection of County Cork uilleann piper and Church of Ireland cleric wikipedia:James_Goodman_(musicologist) (1828-1896). It was also entered into the music manuscript collection of farmer and fiddler Philip Carolan (c. 1839-1910) of Crossmolina, Co. Mayo, in an entry dated July 30th, 1868.
