JENNY CARRUTHERS. AKA - "Jeannie Carruthers' March." Scottish, Pipe March (cut time). A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC'DD'. The march was composed by John MacColl, a Scottish piper and fiddler and, according to Paul Cranford, was popularized among Cape Breton musicians by his student, Sandy Boyd, who emigrated to Cape Breton after World War II.
