K. C. STOMP. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, Tenn. Named for Kansas City, Mo. and popularized by Tennessee fiddler Arthur Smith, who recorded it in 1940 with his band the Dixieliners (Smith and Tommy Magness on fiddles, Clyde Moody on guitar, Bill Westbrook on bass).
