KILLANNAN'S FANCY (Rogha Uí Chuileanáin). AKA and see "Ryan's Reel (1)," "Moving Bogs (6) (The)," "Turnpike Gate (3) (The)." AKA - "Killanan's Fancy." Irish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Breathnach, Armagh Piper's): AABB (Miller). Also played in D major (Patrick Street). The tune is sometimes called "Ryan's Reel" after Clare fiddler Joe Ryan who recorded it with Micheál Ó hAlmhain on a 1970 Comhaltas LP. Some see similarites with "Danny O'Donnell's."
