Irish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (most versions): AA'B (Taylor): ABB' (Harker/Rafferty). Originally a County Sligo reel, named for the town of Killavil, birthplace of fiddler Lad O'Beirne and others. The tune is played in both single and double reel versions in sessions.
