LADS OF KILWINING, THE. AKA and see "Wives of Kilwinnon (The)." Scottish, English; Reel (cut time). England, Northumberland. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was first published in Edinburgh by Robert Bremer in his Second Collection of Scots Reels and Country Dances, along with directions for a country dance.

The town of Kilwinning is in North Ayrshire.
