LADY GORDON'S (REEL) [2]. AKA - "Lady Gordon." AKA and see "Paddy Carty's Reel." Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The late Bronx flute player Jack Coen says the tune was popularized by the recording of the Ballinakill Traditional Dance Players in 1938. Editor Jackie Small (CRÉ V) notes that the tune is very much associated with the east Galway tradition.
