LADY JEMIMA CORNWALLIS. Scottish, Reel. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by Biography:William Marshall (1748-1833). Lady Jemima (1803-1856) was one of the five daughters of Lady Louisa Gordon and her husband Charles Cornwallis, Bury Street, Edmonds, Suffolk. She later became Countess St. Germans (Cowie, The Life and Times of William Marshall, 1999). Marshall was Steward of the Household for Lady Jamima's grandparents, the Duke and Duchess of Gordon at Gordon Castle.

Jemima married Edward Granville Eliot, 3rd Earl of St. Germans, in 1824, and with him had six children.
