Lady Madelina (1772-1847) was the second daughter Marshall's employer, Alexander, 4th Duke of Gordon, and his wife Jane Maxwell, Duchess of Gordon. Madelina married first (in 1795) Sir Robert Sinclair of Caithness and later (in 1805) Charles Fyche-Palmer of Luckely Park, Berkshire.
