Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The reel is almost identical to Scottish fiddler-composer Robert Mackintosh's "Honorable Mrs. Maule."

Source for notated version : - "Cronin" [O'Neill]. Chicago fiddler Edward Cronin was originally from Limerick Junction, County Tipperary, born c. 1843. He was one of the best fiddlers in Chicago at the time O'Neill was collecting, and O'Neill transcribed many tunes from his playing. He also could be difficult to get along with, especially in the longer term.
