LITTLE FANNY'S LOVE [1]. AKA and see "Briar Bush (The)," "Favorite March from Oscar and Malvina (2)," "My Little Peggy Love." English, Dance Tune (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The Scotch Ghost, or, Little Fanny's Love was a pantomime and ballet by Giuseppe Capelletti and Giacomo Gentili performed at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. It was published by London music printers Longman and Broderip around the year 1796. Harlequin and Oberon, or, Little Fanny's Love was another work also dating from 1796. The melody was heard earlier, however, in the ballet-pantomime Oscar and Malvina (1791) as a march air.
