LONGFORD TINKER, THE (Tincéir an Longfoirt)." AKA - "The Longford Reel." AKA and see "Concert Flute (The)," "Furze Bush (The)," "Longford Spinster (The)." Irish, Reel. B Minor ('A' part) & D Major ('B' and 'C' parts). Standard tuning (fiddle). ABC (Mallinson, Sullivan): AABC (Mulvihill). The tune is apparently derived from the Scots "Jenny Dang the Weaver (1)." It was popularized by the playing of the Bothy Band.
