LORD LOUDON'S MARCH [2]. English, March (whole time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Lord Loudon's March [2]" was published London in Charles and Ann Thompson's The Compleat Tutor for the Hautboy(c. 1758) and, ten years later, in Thirty Favourite Marches, Book 1 (1768), a compilation of marches by Handel, Arne and other composers published by the Thompsons (Charles and Samuel). It was composed by Georg Fredric Handel (1685-1759) (HWV 419/2)
