MAID IN THE PARLOUR, THE  (Cailleach sa Chúinne).  Irish, Jig (6/8 time). D Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD.  "Cailleach sa Chúinne" (The Maid in the Parlor) is a piping tune that was entered into volume 1 of the large mid-19th century music manuscript collection of County Cork cleric and uilleann piper [[wikipedia:James Goodman (muiscologist)|]].  It is nearly identical, find Hugh and Lisa Shields, to the tune printed in early 19th century piper O'Farrel's National Irish Music (p. 28) entitled "Old Hag in the Corner (1) (The)."
