MANDERSTON HOUSE. Scottish, Strathspey. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The melody was composed by biography:Abraham Mackintosh. Manderston House, in the Borders region near Duns, Berwickshire, has been rebuilt into a stately Edwardian mansion that at the present time is privately owned by Lord and Lady Palmer, but open to the public. In MacIntosh's time it was a property of the Homes', built in 1790.
