Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Other sets of this rather large and varied tune family include "Down the Hill," "Ducks on the Pond/Ducks in the Pond" (a rather distanced American version), "Flowers of Limerick (1) (The)," "Groves Hornpipe (The)," "Molly Maguire (1)," "Old Town Reel," "Rainy Day (1) (A)," "Salt River (2)," "Telephone Reel," "Pigeon on the Pies” and one of the "Ewe with the Crooked Horn (3) (The)" tunes. The Old Ballinakil Ceili Band from County Galway recorded a version of the tune under this title on a 78 RPM record in the early 1930's.
