MISS CAHOON. Scottish, Jig (6/8 time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. John Glen (1891) finds the earliest appearance of the tune in print in Robert Bremner's 1768 2nd collection (p. 98), as "Miss Cahoon's Reel" (Calqhoun is perhaps what is meant by Calhoon).
