MISS MOLLY'S WIGG. AKA - "Miss Molly's Gigg." English, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was published in 1774 by the Thompsons, London music publishers, as "Miss Molly's Wigg," although it appears in one edition of their 1780 Compleat Collection vol. 4 as "Miss Molly's Gigg," corrected in another edition of their volume.
