Dempster in biography:James Walker's first collection of c. 1795. Walker was a musician, composer and music teacher in Dysart, Fife, Scotland. Leslie is the name of a village in Fife, and also the name of a country estate, wikipedia:Leslie_House,the largest and earliest Restoration house in Fife.
