MORNING FLOWER. AKA - "Flower of the Morning." American, Reel (cut time). USA; W.Va./Ky. A Major. The source for the tune is east Ky/W.Va. regional legendary fiddler Ed Haley [1] (Ky.) via Wilson Douglas [2] (1922-1999, Braxton County, W.Va.). Ed Haley, according to Douglas, sang:

Go little children, go and go,
Down in the valley where the flowers grow.
