"Mrs. Colonel Grant of Grant's Strathspey" was composed by Elgin fiddler-composer and dancing master biography:Donald Grant (c.1760 – c.1835), who dedicated his 1820-21[1] collection to Mrs. Colonel Grant, of Castle Grant.
