MRS. MACDONALD [1]. AKA - "Mrs. McDonald." AKA and see “Island of Mull (The)," "Maid of Glenconnel (The)," "Storyteller (The).” Scottish, Slow Air (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Researcher Lisa Shields identifies "Mrs. McDonald" as a variant of "Flora MacDonald." "Mrs. McDonald" is contained in Book 4 of the large mid-19th century music manuscript collection of County Cork cleric and uilleann piper wikipedia:James_Goodman_(musicologist). Francis O'Neill printed the tune as "Storyteller (The)" in his Music of Ireland (1903).
