"Mrs. Macmillan" was composed by Aberdeenshire fiddler-composer and Scottish dancing master wikipedia:James_Scott_Skinner (1843-1927). Mrs. Macmillen's name appears in the list of patrons and families who had received tuition (i.e. from dancing classes) from Skinner and his wife.
