NEW LIMERICK LASSES. Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. "New Limerick Lasses" is a member of the tune family that included "Bashful Beau (The)," "Kitty Losty's Reel," "Queen of May (2) (The)," and "Tap Room (The)," among others. Similar-sounding in the first strain to "Sailor on the Rock" but perhaps not cognate.
