O'SULLIVAN'S FROLIC. AKA and see "Bímíid ag ól is a' Pógadh na mBan." Irish, Jig (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The melody appears under this title in the mid-19th century music manuscripts of Church of Ireland cleric wikipedia:James_Goodman_(musicologist) (1828-1896). Goodman was an Irish speaker and an uilleann piper who collected from tradition in Cork and elsewhere in Munster, although he obtained tunes from manuscripts and printed sources as well. Paul de Grae thinks the "O'Sullvan's Frolic" may be sourced to a song written by Eoghan Rua Ó Súilleabháin c. 1780 under the alternate title, listed above.
