OLD NUMBER THIRD. American, March or Reel (4/4 time). USA, southwestern Pa. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Bayard's source's father learned the tune as a boy during the Civil War era and passed it onto his son. Bayard is of the opinion it could have been a fife march as well as a fiddle tune.
