OLD RANTON HEIGHLANDER. English. England, Northumberland. One of the "missing tunes" from William Vickers' 1770 Northumberland dance tune manuscript. Since Vickers printed the reel "Ranton Heighlander" ("Ranting Highlander"), "Old Ranton Heighlaner" was presumably a different tune.
