OLD WALLS OF LISCARROLL [2]. AKA and see "Ruins of Killmallock (The)." Irish, Jig (6/8 time). A Minor ('A' part) & A Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A variant of "Old Walls of Liscarroll (1)." The choice of the first-strain key in the Howe publications, two sharps, negated in the notation by naturalizing all the sharped notes, is curious. The first strain is in the minor key, with the cadence clearly resting on an 'A' note.
