ONCE I LOVED ANOTHER MAN'S WIFE. Scottish. Appears in full in the Guthrie MS. Guthrie was a covenanting minister who was beheaded in 1661 for writing a seditious pamphlet. He probably was no lover of dance music, and some wag may have sown tunes into a MS of his sermons.
