"Pas Seul [5]" was printed in Montrose and Aberdeen dancing master and musician biography:Archibald Duff's Choice Selection (c. 1812). Pas seul refers to a 'solo dance', and Duff's collection has a number of them arranged as suites, probably to be danced by his adolescent female pupils, perhaps as a showcase. The dance, choreographed to several tunes, is lost, but Duff included the name of his student, Miss Elisabeth Urquhart, Bothwell Castle. See also Duff's tune "Miss Mary Ann Urquhart's High Dance", presumably for a sister.
