PETER D. SCOLLAY. Scottish, Reel. Scotland, Shetland Isles. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. "Peter D. Scollay" was composed by Shetland fiddle and piano player Margaret Scollay. She began fiddle lessons at age seven with Tom Anderson, and in 1973 was in the first cadre of students when traditional Shetland music was offered in Shetland schools. She now teaches in her own right. Peter D. Scollay was a guitar player who accompanied his brother, fiddler John Scollay, recorded in the early 1950's by collector Pat Shuldham-Shaw.
