POLO MARCH, THE. Canadian, March or Polka (2/4 time). Canada; Cape Breton, Prince Edward Island. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAâB (Cranford): AAâBB (Perlman). The tune is always played as the second tune in a medley with âSouthern Melody,â and the pair was introduced by Cape Breton fiddler Winston âScottyâ FitzGerald.
