PRIDE OF CLOONTIA, THE (Péarla na gCluainte). AKA and see “Fred Finn's (3),” “Navvy on the Shore (1)," "Paddy Jim Frank." Irish, Reel. Ireland, County Sligo. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The village of Clootia is in County Mayo, near the border of both County Roscommon and County Sligo. Philippe Varlet believes the tune to be a variant of “Navvie on the Line/Shore.”
