PRINCE WILLIAM OF GLOUCESTER'S WALTZ. AKA - "Prince William of Glo's'ter's Waltz." English, Waltz. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABC. "Prince William of Gloucester's Waltz" was printed by the firm of Thomas Preston & Co. in 1801. A version was entered in the large music manuscript collection of British Army fifer John Buttery in the early 19th century.

Prince William of Gloucester was the son of the Duke of Gloucester, who was King George III's younger brother. In 1816, he married his cousin Mary (daughter of George III and Queen Charlotte). See note for "Prince William of Gloucester's Favorite" for more information.
