PRINCE OF ORANGE [2]. Scottish, Jig (6/8 time). D Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The sixteen bar jig is attributed to John MacGill, the town piper of Girvan, in Joshua Campbell's 1778 collection. "Round the Room" refers to the Scottish Country Dance set to the tune, a jig for one couple facing another in a round-the-room formation.
