A popular English hornpipe under a variety of titles (an entered without title as well in several older English musicians' ms. collections). See note for "annotation:Worcester Hornpipe" for more. Gibbons originally set the tune in the key of ‘C’ major in his ms., while another Lincolnshire musician, Thomas Sands, set it in B Flat in his c. 1810 manuscript collection.
