PROPOSAL [2], THE. AKA and see “George Carnegie's Strathspey,” “Inverara Rant.” Canadian, Reel. Canada, Cape Breton. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Dunlay and Greenberg gave this name to variations of the tune also known as “I Wish You Wou'd Marry Me Now/Marry Me Now,” a four part tune. See also older Northumbrian versions “Lady Warkworth's Reel (1)” and “Morpeth Lasses.”
