The first strain is shared with Roger Deshaies' "Reel de mon grand-père (2)" (named by his grandson, Sébastien Deshaies, of Shawinigan, Québec). Compare also with the second strain of J.O. Albert La Madeleine's "Trois petits coups d'archet."
